Good to be back home. That was a lot of miles. My first ever trip to Moab and Easter Jeep Safari is in the books!
Had a blast. TJ and I shared the driving on the way there and back. That part of the country is just plain awesome. Unbelievable. Pictures don’t do it justice.
I even got to meet Ian Johnson from Velocity’s Extreme Off Road TV show. And I got to meet a real legend in the automotive industry, Jessi Combs – the fastest woman on 4 wheels.
The trip wasn’t without its drama, however. I got the flu on the drive out that I couldn’t shake. We ended up skipping the second day of trails. Coming out of Cliffhanger, on the second to last day, I busted a brake line. Found a replacement, but it would have been too short to go offroad with. I would have ripped it apart.
I can’t wait to go back. Maybe next year. 😉
