This weeks video is rather short. I reassembled the coolant pump and installed it back into the mill. I managed to find a couple of pieces that needed replacing from someone on one of the machinist’s forums.

Hello,
Really enjoyed your video on the K&T coolant pump. I am interested in an alternative pump to the troublesome 3phase impeller pump on my Beaver NC5. I think if K&T used the spur gear type pump it must have something going for it. Could I ask at what speed the pump drive shaft is driven? And rough diameter of the pump gears?
I have a similar by probably much smaller pump in my Qualters and Smith Hacksaw. How have you found the K&T pump? Thanks again for the video. I will like it now.
Thanks TOm
The pump has been working flawlessly for me. On first use, I did need to prime it, but I don’t have to do that anymore.
