Part of our trip to Ouray Colorado was to take our Jeeps over Black Bear Pass.
Part of our trip to Colorado was to take our Jeeps over Black Bear Pass. I wanted to make something as a memento of the trip by creating this steel replica of the summit marker and chemically rusting it. I made a short video on how I did this that you can see by clicking the link in my bio and then the image of the sign replica.

A few weeks ago, some friends of mine and I traveled out to the San Juan National Forest to explore the mountain passes and old gold and silver mines. What an epic trip. Black Bear Pass was the pinnacle of the trip. Breathtaking views. Perfectly clear skies. Even took a ride on an old narrow gauge railroad. Awesome way to see an extraordinary part of this great nation. Can’t wait to go back again.

Got some much needed and deserved trail therapy in at Windrock Offroad Park
Got some much needed and deserved trail therapy in at Windrock Offroad Park in Tennessee. Along with three other friends, we spend 3 days and drive 67 miles of trails, including Trail 16, mostly blues and blacks. Thought about running some reds, but decided to reserve that for the next trip here when we have more time to pull winch cable. ;)

Sometimes, you just have to have a little fun.
Installed a set of Off Road Only rock lights in the Mule.
Installed a set of @offroadonly_oro rock lights in the Mule. I’ve wired the switch so that I can turn them on when I want, but I can also tie them in to the dome lights. Hope to be putting these to use in a week.
