Noticed this crack in the passenger side rear shock mount.
Noticed this crack in the passenger side rear shock mount. You can see where the metal had been thinned from too many scrapes on the rocks. I drilled out the end of the crack, welded it shut and cleaned it up with a grinder. .

Getting things trail ready again
Feels good to finally putting stuff back on the Mule instead of taking them off
Feels good to finally putting stuff back on the Mule instead of taking them off or watching it collect dust. 😂 The acceleration of the shop build date put me behind on the Jeep. Taking a break from construction and back on assembly. .

Whoop! Gettin it done!
I had to replace a bushing on one of my Bilstein shocks.
I had to replace a bushing on one of my Bilstein shocks. The bolt rusted to the sleeve and I had to cut it off. Bilstein doesn’t have replacement parts. Boo. I was able to find a @warrior_products part that would work, but the hole for the sleeve is 1/2” and I needed it to be 12mm. So I made a new sleeve out of some bar stock. First real project on a lathe. 😊

Wheelie Wednesday!
One of the mistakes I made when installing the Max-Bilt Trail Tails
One of the mistakes I made when installing the Max-Bilt Trail Tails in this corner armor, is I didn’t properly heat sink the resistors that are inline with the turn signals. Without the resistor, the computer thinks the bulb is burnt out. But that resistor gets HOT, so I’ll be correcting that soon.
